I wish we could give you a better answer than that, but it's not like releasing a comic book or a new truffle flavor. Bigger software companies tend to keep specific dates and timelines quite internal, so that they have room to fix things if they come across a show-stopping bug. That said, they have committed thus far to a generic "second half of 2005" release date. If you want a more specific answer than that, you're going to have to have better connections at Microsoft than I do—and mine are pretty decent.
